Summer Challenge Terms and Conditions
Below are the terms and conditions for schools participating in the Internet Geography Plus Summer Challenge. Please note – the Plus Summer Challenge is only open to schools with an active subscription to Internet Geography Plus on 24th September 2025.
Terms and Conditions – Internet Geography Plus Summer Challenge 2025
By taking part in the Internet Geography Plus Summer Challenge 2025, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are designed to make sure the competition is fair, fun, and safe for everyone involved.
For Students
- You must be in Years 7-9 during the 2024/25 academic year
- Your entry must be your own original work.
- Plagiarism or copying someone else’s work will result in disqualification.
- Do not include any personal information in your submission. This includes your surname, address, school name, email address, or any photos of yourself or others.
- All entries must be handed in to your geography teacher by 10th September 2025.
- Late entries will not be considered for the national competition.
For Teachers
- Only schools with an active subscription to Internet Geography are eligible to enter the Plus Summer Challenge 2025.
- Each school may submit one entry — the best entry as judged by the school.
- The chosen entry should be emailed to: [email protected] by 24th September 2025. We cannot accept any entries that are posted.
- The submission should include:
- The student’s first name only
- A copy, scan/photo of the completed challenge entry
- By submitting an entry, you confirm that:
- The work is the student’s own
- The school has obtained consent from the student (and parent/carer if required) to share the entry with Internet Geography.
All data submitted will be handled in line with UK GDPR regulations. Internet Geography will not store or share any personal information other than the student’s first name and school for the purposes of judging and announcing winners.
Judging & Prizes
- Internet Geography will select three winning entries from all schools.
- The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Winners will be announced on 8th October 2025 via the Internet Geography website and social media platforms.
- Each winner will receive a £30 Love2Shop voucher.
- Vouchers will be posted to the winning students’ schools on the same day (8th October).
